Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators have located a missing a person. It was originally reported to the Sheriff’s Office on August 18, 2021, that 64-year-old Eddie Lee Collier, of Macon, had been reported missing since August 12, 2021.
Collier had checked himself into the at Atrium Health Navicent under a different name but was later identified on August 19, 2021.

MEDIA RELEASE: Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Is Asking for Public’s Assistance in Locating a Missing Person
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person. It was reported that 64-year-old Eddie Collier Jr., of Macon, was last seen after he was released from a local hospital on August 12, 2021. The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was contacted about the missing persons incident on August 18, 2021, at 7:50 a.m.
It was also reported to investigators that Collier had been living in an abandoned home on Robert Henry Street, and is known to frequent the Houston Avenue area.
There is no clothing description. Collier is described as dark-skinned black male standing around 5 feet and 8 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds. He has bushy gray and white hair with a beard and suffers from medical issues.
