The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at 2584 Rocky Creek Road, Family Dollar, parking lot.
It was reported that there was an altercation between multiple subjects. During the physical altercation an unknown person pulled a gun and fired a shot. The male victim was struck in the abdomen during the incident. He was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center and is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident. There is no information on the suspect at this time.
The victim later died at the hospital from his injuries. The victim information is not being released at this time.
