The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision that occurred at 01:47 a.m. on Wimbish Road near Willow Creek Drive.
It was reported that a Honda Accord, driven by 24-year-old Alexsia Shernise Taylor of Macon, was traveling west on Wimbish Road when it went off the roadway and struck a pole. Both Taylor and 40-year-old Recardo Jermaine Danielly, of Macon, her passenger, were ejected from the vehicle. Danielly was pronounced deceased on scene by the Coroner’s Office personnel.
Taylor was transported to the Atrium Health Navicent and later pronounced deceased by staff at 05:33 am. No one else was injured during the incident. The next of kin, for both, has been notified at this time per the Bibb County Coroner’s Office personnel.
