The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic collision that occurred just before 5:30 p.m. in the 8100 block of Knoxville Road.
It was reported that a vehicle was traveling south on Knoxville Road when it went off the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle, a Chevy Trailblazer, was driven by a 63-year-old Julie Ann Fleeman of Byron. The victim was transported to the Navicent Health hospital, where she was pronounced deceased by hospital staff. No one else was injured in the collision. The next of kin has been notified at this time.
