The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred at 5:48 p.m., Friday evening on Kitchens Street.
It was reported that a motorist was traveling northbound on Kitchens Street towards Shurling Drive in an older model Ford F-150 pickup truck. The motorist lost control of his vehicle and went off-road, colliding with a tree. The motorist was ejected from the vehicle. He succumbed to his injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene by Deputy Coroner Ronnie Miley. The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Chanch Alaric Northcutt of Macon. The next of kin has been notified. No one else was involved in the collision.
