The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting incident that occurred at 1189 Ruben Drive on Tuesday night.
It was reported that several shots were fired in the area of Ruben Drive, near Hightower Road. When residents walked outside, they found a male victim lying in the doorway of his residence.
Investigators and Crime Scene investigators are currently at the scene. We are still in the early stages of this investigation. Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified. The victim of the fatal shooting is 42 year old Christopher Jerome Battle of Macon.
