Bibb County Sheriff Office responded to a call of a person down just before 10:00 a.m. When deputies arrived they found a male unresponsive down a wooded embankment.

After further investigation the male was identified as 51-year-old Randall Head. It was originally reported that Head was a missing person. After Head left his home on Saturday afternoon, April 25,2020 and had not been seen or heard from for two days. His father reported him as missing on April 27, 2020.  At this time the cause of death is still under investigation. Heads body will be taken to GBI for an autopsy. 

The next of kin was  notified by Coroner Leon Jones.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance in Locating Missing Person 

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in a missing person investigation.

It was reported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office that 51-year-old Randall Head, of Macon, was last seen leaving his home on Saturday afternoon, April 25, 2020. Heads father contacted the Sheriff’s Office on Monday April 27, 2020  to report him missing when he never returned home after two days. He was last seen driving a 2011 Chevrolet Cruze, red in color, tag number RTS 8842.

Head has several medical issues and left home without his medications. He is known to hang out in the South Macon area. Photographs of Head and his vehicle  are attached to this media release.
