The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred within the 2000 block of Winston Drive. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 5:29 a.m., Wednesday morning.

It was reported that a male was discovered in a blue Chevrolet Blazer unresponsive, in the backyard of a residence on Winston Drive. Deputies arrived on the scene and observed a 42-year-old Nathaniel Leshawn Fuller unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced Fuller deceased on the scene. According to Coroner Leon Jones, the next of kin has been notified.

No one else has been reported harmed.

Investigators are currently working to determine what led to the shooting. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.

Death Investigation on Winston Drive

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred within the 2000 block of Winston Drive. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 5:29 a.m., Wednesday morning.

It was reported that a male was discovered in a blue Chevrolet Blazer unresponsive, in the backyard of a residence on Winston Drive. Deputies arrived on the scene and observed a 42-year-old male unresponsive with gunshot wounds inside the vehicle. Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced the male deceased on the scene. The identity of the deceased will not be released at this time. The next of kin has not been notified.

No one else has been reported harmed.
