The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death that occurred within the 3000 block of Ruark Circle. The call came into the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center at 4:23 a.m., Wednesday morning.

It was reported that a male was observed on Ruark Circle unresponsive. Deputies arrived on the scene and discovered 23-year-old Brian Rashad Obama unresponsive with gunshot wounds. Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced the male deceased on the scene. The next of kin has been notified.

The circumstances surrounding this incident are currently under investigation. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
