Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators received information from the GBI Crime Lab on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 regarding the unidentified body found on May 12, 2016, of Feagin Road. The body is said to be that of a black female or biracial female, according to the GBI. The GBI is attempting to determine the age of the female. The identity is still unknown at this time.
The cause of death has been ruled a homicide. There was evidence of gunshot wounds to the victim’s body.

Investigation of Dead Body Found
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an unidentifiable body found in a field in the 9400 block of Feagin Road just after 2:00pm today.
It was reported that the body was found in the field by a person checking the empty lot. When deputies arrived they discovered a body that was badly decomposed. The body cannot be identified as male or female.
