The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at the Family Dollar store, located at 2529 Houston Avenue. The incident took place at around 9:57p.m.
According to witness statements, two males entered the store, brandishing handguns. The suspects demanded cash from the registers. Once the suspects received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the store, running north on Houston Avenue. No one was injured during this incident.
Suspect number one was described as a black male, with a red bandana covering his face. He was brandishing a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black in colored hoodie, black colored pants, and he was carrying a black colored book bag.

Suspect number two was described as a black male. He was last seen wearing a black scarf over his face. He was also brandishing a handgun. He was last seen wearing a black colored hoodie, dark gray colored pants, and he had on gray colored, “Air max” shoes with a lime green stripe on the side. He was also carrying a black colored book bag.
