The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery of a Brinks Guard that occurred at the ATM Machine outside of the BB&T Bank located at 1302 Gray Highway at around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday morning. It was reported that the guard was servicing the ATM machine when the male suspect came up behind the guard and knocked him forward. The suspect took a bag containing money that was on the ground near the guard and fled on foot away from the bank parking lot. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as a light skinned black male, approximately 6 feet tall, slender to medium build, wearing a long-sleeved blue t-shirt. Investigators are also looking for a 4-door Dodge Avenger. The vehicle was reported to be a different color earlier, but is going to be silver or gray according information given to investigators. The vehicle was reported to have a Georgia License Plate, displaying Clayton County. The vehicle had several papers displayed on the inside rear deck of the vehicle.
