Bibb Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a 15 year old Sharmarian “Bobby” Chatfield in connection to the homicide of 16 year old Calvin Bernard Harvey that took place on June 17, 2018, on Edgewood Drive.
Chatfield was transported to the Macon Regional Detention Center and booked on the charge of Murder. No bond has been set for Chatfield.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Homicide in South Macon
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at 325 Edgewood Ln, just after 12:30a.m. Sunday morning. Deputies responded to a report of a person shot. Upon arrival they found a black male lying on the stoop with a gunshot to his body. The victim 16yr old Calvin Bernard Harvey, of Macon, was pronounced deceased on scene. It was reported that there was cook out at the location, when a vehicle drove by and several shots were fired into the crowd. It was also report that 23yr old Ronnie Jackson Jr., 25yr old Morgan Diggs and a 13yr old female had sustained minor injuries during the incident. The suspect had already fled the scene before Deputies arrived. Diggs and Jackson were treated on scene. The 13yr old female was driven to the Navicent Health Medical Center where she is listed in stable condition. Harvey’s next of kin was notified by the Coroner’s Office. No one else was injured during the incident. There is no suspect information at this time.
