Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 47 year old Elisabeth Cannon of Macon for Aggravated Assault.
It was reported that the victim, Vernon Marcus Jr., was walking past 4030 Bloomfield Dr. with friends when they heard several shots and noticed the 15 year old victim had been shot. It was discovered through the investigation at the scene, that the homeowner, Elisabeth Cannon, had fired the shots. She was transported to the Detective Bureau where she was interviewed and charged with Aggravated Assault. The 15 year old victim is listed in stable but critical condition.
