Update: Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Fatal Traffic Accident in North Bibb
Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident with injuries just before 4:30PM Tuesday afternoon in the 1500 block of Wesleyan Drive. It was reported that a 2004 Honda GL18AT4, 3 wheel motorcycle, was traveling south on Wesleyan Drive when the motorcycle went off the right side of the roadway, down towards the ditch, striking the culvert next to a driveway.
The driver and motorcycle came to rest on the opposite side of the driveway near 1516 Wesleyan Drive. The male driver was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident. The driver was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital. He was identified as 71 year old Arthur Thorsberg Jr., of Macon. The next of kin has been notified according to Bibb County Corner Leon Jones.
