Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 2555 Delano Drive just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning in reference to a call that came in as unknown trouble at the residence. Deputies arrived and found a 17 year old male, Jamarcus James, in the home with multiple gunshot wounds. It was reported that the victim lives there and was playing a video game when he heard a noise that sounded like a door being kicked open. The victim ran to a bedroom closet and hid in the closet. He heard the bedroom door open and heard gunshots. The victim was struck multiple times.
The victim was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital and is listed in stable condition at the present time. No one else was injured during the incident. No suspect information is available at this time.
