Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 38 year old Anthony Jennings late last night after further investigation of the shooting incident. Jennings is the father of the 5 year old victim as well as the other 3 children that lived in the home at 3920 Grand Avenue, where the shooting took place yesterday afternoon. Jennings is charged with 1count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and 1 count of cruelty to children in the second degree. Bond has not been set for Jennings.
The 5 year old victim is out of surgery and listed in good condition at a local hospital.
