A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigator arrests three suspects in connection with an aggravated assault investigation. The incident occurred on October 3, 2023, at MAV at North Macon, located at 5578 Riverside Drive.

On October 5, 2023, twenty-year-old Ronnie Shamar Coley, twenty-year-old Sahmara Shelia Mccants, and eighteen-year-old Jamon Aikeen Troutman, all of Macon, were identified as persons of interest in the shooting incident. They were transported from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Headquarters to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center.

Ronnie Shamar Coley, Sahmara Shelia Mccants, and Jamon Aikeen Troutman all face a charge of Aggravated Assault. They are all currently in custody without a bond.

Aggravated Assault Investigation on Riverside Drive

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at MAV at North Macon located at 5578 Riverside Drive, just after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday.

On October 3, 2023, Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a distress call reporting shots fired in the area at 2:17 p.m. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they discovered a twenty-one-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Atrium Health Navicent for medical treatment. According to Medical Staff, he is listed in critical but stable condition. No one else was reported injured.

Investigators are on the scene working to determine what led up to the incident.
