Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested a suspect in connection to the shooting incident that occurred in south Macon on Tuesday, September 22, 2015. The investigation into this incident led investigators to the identity of the suspect involved. Bibb County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigators and members of the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit arrested on 26-year-old Dalonza Lee Dupree of Macon at around 3:40p.m. Thursday afternoon at a north Macon apartment complex.
Dalonza Lee Dupree was arrested for the charges of (2cts.) of Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, and also for a charge unrelated to the September 24th incident, Possession of Cocaine. Dupree is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond.
