The US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators arrested 19 year old Jacob Elijah Miller Monday afternoon just after 2:30 p.m. at an address in Atlanta Georgia.

Miller was arrested on a Crimestoppers tip in relation to the shooting of Brooklyn Rouse that occurred on December 26, 2016 outside 2443 Vivian Drive. Rouse was delivering a pizza for Papa Johns at the time of the shooting. Miller was transported from Atlanta back to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division. Miller was arrested on warrants for Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder, Armed Robbery and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

In addition to the charges for the shooting and armed robbery of Brooklyn Rouse, 19 year old Jacob Elijah Miller has been charged with Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault in connection with the shooting and armed robbery of 23 year old Duncan Siror on December 22, 2016. On this night at around 9:45 p.m. Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Taco Bell at 4040 Bloomfield Drive in reference to a person shot. When deputies arrived at the restaurant, they found Siror. He had a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.

Siror reported he was making a pizza delivery for Papa Johns at 2978 Bloomfield Drive. He exited his vehicle and was shot. While lying on the ground, two black males demanded money from him. After giving the suspects the money in his pocket, he fled to the Taco Bell to call for help. Siror was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital for his gunshot wound.

Miller is also charged with a Probation Violation. He is currently in the Bibb County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Center awaiting his first appearance before a Magistrate Judge.

Bibb Sheriff David Davis said, “Frequently we see that these individuals are so fearless when they commit the crime, but they run like a chicken when facing the consequences of their cold blooded acts. It’s both shocking and troubling when a person, who is trying to make a living in a productive society, is attacked by callous predators who mostly likely know nothing of real work. We can be thankful for the teamwork of Bibb investigators, US Marshals, and community members who made the call to CrimeStoppers for all their efforts which resulted in the capture of this suspect in this senseless assault.”

Anyone with information on both of these incidents is asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500, or Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
