Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators served arrest warrants for 37-year-old Shaun Mills and 40-year-old Terrell Ugean Mills on March 14, 2024, in connection to the death investigation of 47-year-old Ishmael Hassan Saleem. Both men have yet to be extradited to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The warrant for Murder was served for Shaun Mills who is currently in custody at the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office in Anniston, Alabama, since March 10, 2023. The warrant for Murder was served for Terrell Ugean Mills who is currently in custody at the Jones County Sheriff’s Office, since January 31, 2023. Both men were taken into custody by each agency for warrants served for Murder in the January 19, 2023, murder of 52-year-old Pinal Kumar Patel on Thoroughbred Lane.

Death Investigation on Lincoln Street
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened in the 2300 block of Lincoln Street just before 02:00 a.m.
Deputies responded to the 2300 block of Lincoln Street regarding a person shot. Upon arrival, deputies found 47-year-old Ishmael Hassan Saleem, of Macon in a Saturn Aura unresponsive. Saleem was found to have been shot in the chest. He was transported to Atrium Health and was pronounced deceased by staff. No one else was injured during the incident. The next of kin have been notified at this time.
