On Friday afternoon at around 1:45 p.m. the US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force along with investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23 year old Derrick Dwayne Lamb. He is charged with armed robbery in connection with the commercial armed robbery of the Game Stop, located at 4659 Presidential Parkway, that occurred on June 30, 2016.
Lamb was picked up at 4738 Elkan Ave. without incident after a tip was received through Crimestoppers on his identity and whereabouts. Lamb was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked on the charge of armed robbery. He currently has no bond.

Commercial Armed Robbery At Game Stop
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that occurred at around 10:20 a.m. Thursday morning at the Game Stop, located at 4659 Presidential Parkway.
It was reported that a black male walked into the business, approached an employee and poured lighter fluid on the employee. The male suspect told the employee to give him the money or he would set the employee on fire. The employee gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect then turned and ran out of the store in an unknown direction. The employee was checked by EMS but was not injured.
The suspect is described as 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighs approximately 230 to 240 pounds. He was wearing all black clothing, a short sleeved shirt and a blue toboggan type cap. A picture of the suspect from the stores surveillance video is attached.
