Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested a suspect in connection with the Commercial Armed Robbery of the Marathon gas station that is located at 4505 Broadway. The incident occurred on March 29, 2022 at 8:44 p.m. The original media release is attached below the updated media release.
It was reported that at around 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, Bibb County Sheriff’s patrol deputies located the vehicle that was reported to have been used during the armed robbery. The vehicle was located at the Discovery Inn on Chambers Road. The vehicle was described as a silver in color, Ford Escape. A male individual was sitting inside of the vehicle when the deputies arrived at the Discovery Inn. Patrol deputies discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen out of Warner Robins, and they also found the male that was occupying the vehicle was in possession of ecstasy pills.
The male individual was identified as 25-year-old Antonio Jamal Peek. He was interviewed by investigators about the incident and then transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. Peek is currently being held, without bond, for the charges of Theft by Taking-Felony, Purchase, Possess, or Have Control of Controlled Substance in Schedule I or Narcotic in Schedule II, and Armed Robbery.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are continuing to investigate the incident and are currently looking to identify and locate the three other individuals that were reported to have been involved.

Commercial Armed Robbery Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Commercial Armed Robbery that took place at the Marathon gas station, located at 4505 Broadway. The incident occurred at 8:44 p.m. on Tuesday.
It was reported that four males entered the store, and brandished handguns. The males demanded money from the register. Once they received an undisclosed amount of cash, they fled the scene in a silver Ford Escape.
The males are described as black male juveniles, All wearing dark clothing with their faces covered.
