Shannon Stracery Daniels Jr. turned himself over to deputies for Aggravated Assault warrants, in connection to a shooting incident that took place on Third Avenue, Saturday afternoon. Daniels was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center at around 5:00p.m. Monday.
Daniels is currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center for (4cts) of Aggravated Assault. Daniels has a bond amount of $110,800.00 bond.

Public’s Assistance Requested in Locating Aggravated Assault Suspect
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Shannon Stracery Daniels Jr, in connection with the shooting of 15-year-old D’Michael Jenkins.
The incident happened on January 26, 2019 on Third Avenue. Jenkins is still listed in stable condition at the Navicent Health Medical Center.
Daniels is wanted for four counts of Aggravated Assault. Daniels is considered armed and dangerous. A picture of Daniels is attached to the release.

Aggravated Assault Investigation
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 2100 block of Third Avenue. The incident took place at around 5:00p.m. Saturday.
It was reported that two males were standing outside of a residence, arguing. During the argument, one of the males brandished a gun and shot the other in the stomach area. The suspect who committed the shooting fled the scene, on foot, in an unknown direction.
The victim, 15 year-old, D’ Michael Jenkins, was transported to the hospital by ambulance and is listed to be in stable condition.
This incident is under investigation and additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available.
