The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a person shot. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb County E-911 Center, at 7:17 p.m. Thursday, from a local hospital.
The 28-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital by vehicle. He later passed away from his injuries. The name of the victim will be released once the next of kin has been contacted.
The circumstances and location of this incident are still under investigation. More details will be released once they become available.
