The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred at the Friends Food Mart, located at 3350 Houston Avenue. The incident was called into the Macon-Bibb 911 Center at 8:47 p.m. Monday.
It was reported that three male individuals later identified as 19-year-old Braxton Cole, 19-year-old Roderick Felton and 23-year-old Deroderick Collins were shot inside this location. The three victims were transported to the hospital by ambulance where 19-year-old Roderick Felton later died from his injuries. Cole is listed in critical condition, and Collins is listed in stable condition. The circumstances surrounding this incident are still under investigation at this time.
