Update: Aggravated Assault Incident in North Bibb
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred at 1126 Roundtable Lane, just before 1:00am. Friday morning. Macon-Bibb 911 Dispatch originally had the call in at 6375 Zebulon Road, but the incident did not occur there. It was reported that 19 year old Tyree Welch of Macon was attending a party at 1126 Roundtable Lane when he was shot in the shoulder. Witnesses stated they heard one shot and everyone ran. Welch was transported by a third party to the Coliseum Northside Hospital and is listed in stable condition. No one else was injured in the incident.
No suspect information is available at this time. Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are still investigating the incident.
