Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators have issued warrants for 17yr old Kentrellis Davreon Barnes of Macon. Barnes is wanted for criminal attempt to commit murder, aggravated assault and cruelty to children. It was reported that Barnes had a verbal altercation at a store with three other males earlier Saturday, prior to Edgerin Wallace being shot. One of the males that Barnes argued with was 18 year old Shedderck Wallace who is also the son of Shatoya Jackson. Shedderck Wallace told Jackson that Barnes had shot at him and at their home located on Woolfolk Street after the verbal altercation. Jackson then drove to Fulton Street and located Barnes. That’s when Barnes approached her vehicle, threatened Jackson, pulled a gun, shooting at the vehicle and striking Edgerin Wallace as Jackson was driving away.

Edgerin Wallace is still listed in stable but critical condition at the Navicent Health Medical Center.

Barnes is described as being six feet two inches tall a hundred and eighty pounds with medium skin and medium build with twists in his hair. A 2016 photograph of Barnes is attached to this release but does not show his current hairstyle.

Aggravated Assault Incident In East Macon

The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred on Fulton St near Woolfolk St. just after 02:41p.m. Saturday afternoon. It was reported that 36yr old Shatoya Jackson and 34yr old Keonis Mann and Jackson’s 7yr old son Edgerin Wallace of Macon were in a Honda Civic on Fulton St. when they were approached by a black male. It was stated that the black male argued with Jackson and then pulled a gun out and that is when Jackson pulled off. The black male fired at the car striking Wallace in the head. Jackson drove to the Coliseum Hospital. Wallace was then transported by E.M.S. to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition at this time. No one else was injured during this incident.

The suspect was described as a medium skinned black male around six feet tall wearing a green shirt, unknown pants with twists in his hair.
