The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit, members of the Bibb County SWAT Team and Gang Unit, along with members of the Macon D.E.A. served a search warrant at a residence located at 423 East Buford Road at around 8:00a.m. Thursday morning.
Investigators arrested two suspects and seized approximately 466 grams of powder cocaine. The cocaine has an estimated street value of $466,000.00. Investigators also seized paraphernalia, including bags and scales. Marijuana , prescription pills, currency, and a .22 caliber revolver was also seized from the residence.
Two suspects that were arrested as a result of the search warrant are:
Javares Jovan Simmons, age 35 of Macon, was charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony. Simmons is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
Kerry Dewayne Walker Jr., age 24 of Macon. Walker was charged with Trafficking Cocaine. Walker is currently being held at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center without bond.
