Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the area of Sylvian Drive at around 11:26p.m. Monday night when they spotted a Nissan Versa traveling with a headlight out. Deputies conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and discovered that the driver of the vehicle, 35-year-old Joshua Scott Henry of Macon had an expired license. While speaking with Henry about the expired license, deputies noticed an odor of marijuana coming from inside of the vehicle.
Deputies discovered several clear zip lock bags containing smaller baggies of marijuana, digital scales, two mason jars with more marijuana baggies and other packaging materials. Deputies counted over 49 small baggies of marijuana.
Henry was taken into custody for the charge of Purchase, Possession, Manufacture, Distribution, or Sale of Marijuana. Henry bonded out of the jail on Tuesday afternoon on an $8,450.00 bond.
