The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that occurred on I 475 north bound, at mile marker 11 At 05:20hrs this morning a 2015 Mack Tractor Trailer driven by 68yr old Weber Amos of Florida was driving north, when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to go off the road into the tree line. The trailer was loaded with Florida Orange Juice that was headed to Tennessee. Amos was treated on scene and released with minor injuries.
The right two lanes of I 475 north bound at mile marker 11 has been closed and will remain closed while cleanup crews remove the debris from the road way. It is asked that the area be avoided while the cleanup is in process.
