Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of an accident with injury at around 5:15 p.m. on I-16 East near I-75. It was reported that a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe, towing a Coachman Travel Trailer, was traveling on I-16 East. The driver, 69 year old James Green of Eatonton Georgia, said the trailer started swaying and he lost control of the truck and trailer, striking a sign and the guardrail.
Green had some scrapes and cuts but did not wish to be taken to a local hospital to be checked. Traffic continued to be routed around the accident scene and was only affected for a short time until the accident scene was cleared. No other vehicles were involved.
