Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a traffic accident with injuries just before 2:00PM today, on Broadway at Eisenhower Parkway. It was reported that 51 year old Arthur Brewer of Lizella was driving his 1991 Chevrolet Silverado Pickup east on Eisenhower Parkway. A 2003 International 400 Series Tow Truck, driven by 34 year old Devin Easterly of Eatonton, was traveling north on Broadway. Brewer ran through the red light at the intersection of Broadway at Eisenhower Parkway, striking Easterly’s vehicle.
Brewer was transported to the Medical Center Navicent Health to be treated for injuries. He is listed in stable condition. Easterly made a complaint of injury but did not want to be transported to a hospital. Initial investigation of the accident showed that Brewer ran through the red light, causing the accident.
