Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a call of a pedestrian accident with injuries on Kitchens Road near Shurling Drive just before 11:30 p.m. Monday night. It was reported that a 2000 Toyota Camry, driven by 19 year old Marisa Eleby, was traveling north on Kitchens Road when a 12 year old female crossed in front of her path. Eleby tried to avoid striking the juvenile but was unable.
The pedestrian was transported to the Navicent Health Hospital for minor injuries. Eleby was not injured. There are no charges at this time.
