Bibb County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a traffic accident with injuries involving a cyclist just after 8:00PM Tuesday night. The accident occurred in the 6300 block of Thomaston Road. It was reported that 31 year old Casey Smith, of Macon was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe west on Thomaston Road in the left westbound lane. Smith said he saw 2 cyclists along the side of the roadway traveling westbound on Thomaston Road. It was reported that there was a third cyclist that Smith did not see before he struck him. The injured cyclist, 48 year old Tracy Fuller, of Macon was taken by ambulance to the Medical Center Navicent Health to be treated for the injuries he received in the accident. He is listed in critical condition.
