The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Williamson Road and Bloomfield Drive at 4:19hrs this afternoon. It was reported that a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 30-year-old Shayonna West of Macon, was traveling North on Bloomfield Drive. A black GMC Denali, driven by 30-year-old Alesia Waller of Macon, was traveling on Williamson Road. The vehicles collided in the intersection of Williamson Road and Bloomfield Drive.

There were six children in the vehicle with West, a 6-year-old boy and five girls, ranging in age from 10-years-old to 5-years-old. They were all taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center and are listed in stable condition at this time.

Waller’s 9-year-old niece was in the vehicle with her at the time of the accident, they were taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center. Waller is listed in stable condition at this time, her 9-year-old niece is listed in critical condition at this time.
