The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on Riverside Dr. at Arkwright Rd., at around 1:20pm Saturday evening. It was reported that a Black Pontiac G6, driven by 63yr old John Shivas, of Savannah, was traveling on Arkwright Rd. and was crossing over Riverside Dr. Shivas’ vehicle was struck by a Gray Kia Optima driven by 27yr old Bryan Cranmore of Macon. Cranmore was traveling south on Riverside Dr.

The area was blocked while the accident was being investigated.  All lanes were reopened once the roadway was cleared. 63yr old Elizabeth Shivas the passenger and wife of John Shivas, along with the passenger of Cranmore, 26yr old Candy Dornan of Macon, were both taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center to be treated for their injuries. Elizabeth Shivas and Candy Dornan are both listed in stable condition at this time. John Shivas and Bryan Cranmore were treated on scene but accompanied there passengers to the hospital.
