The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that occurred on I 75 North Bound, at its intersection with the I 16 East Bound on Ramp. At 01:30hrs this morning a 1998 Peterbuilt Tractor Trailer in red color carrying a load of Sod and driven by 36yr old Robert Bolton of Cordele was driving North when he hit the guard rail causing the truck to flip onto its side and spill its load onto the roadway. Bolton was taken to the Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. Bolton is charged with driving too fast for conditions in connection with the accident.
The intersection at I 75 North Bound and I 16 East Bound with be closed while cleanup crews remove the debris from the road way. It is asked that the area be avoided while the cleanup is in process.
