The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident with injuries that occurred on I-475 at 3:27pm Friday evening. It was reported that a 1994 Dodge Ram van , driven by 64yr old Thomas Free was traveling on I-475 just past the Zebulon Road exit. It was reported that Free lost control of the vehicle because of a blown tire. Free tried to gain control striking the back of a 2013 Ford F-150 driven by 28yr old Marcus Alexander. Alexander coworker 37yr old John Young was in the back of the truck placing road closure barrows when Free struck the back of the truck. Young was taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition.
