Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested three individuals in connection with the First Dani Store, Commercial Armed Robbery. The store is located at 1286 Anthony Road and the incident occurred on December 8, 2020.
Investigators discovered that a nightshift clerk and her boyfriend, who is a security guard, and a 13-year-old juvenile worked together during the commission of this crime. The juvenile was found to be related to the security guard. Both the night shift clerk and security guard worked for the First Dani Store, but were both off duty when the commercial armed robbery took place.
During the commission of the crime, the nightshift clerk entered the store and propped open the security doors, leading to where the cash registers are located. The juvenile entered the business, committed the armed robbery and fled the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The security guard was the driver of the getaway car and he was parked near the store. After the Commercial Armed Robbery, the juvenile got into the vehicle with his Uncle, the security guard, and they fled the area.
Investigators identified the three suspects and had warrants issued for their arrests in connection to the Armed Robbery.
After warrants were issued, the 13-year-old juvenile turned himself over to investigators and was transported to the RYDC. He is currently charged with Armed Robbery. The security guard, Ronnie Eugene Chatfield Jr, age 30, was arrested on an armed robbery warrant and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he is currently being held, without bond. The night shift clerk, Victoria Elizabeth Jenkins,also age 30, was arrested on an armed robbery warrant and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where she is currently being held, without bond. Jenkins also has a hold for the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for an unrelated charge.
This investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are pending further investigation.

Commercial Armed Robbery of First Dani Store
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place at 3:16 p.m. at the First Dani Store, located at 1286 Anthony Road.
It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After getting an undisclosed amount of money he fled the store fled on foot. No one was injured during this incident.
