Theft by Taking suspect, 25-year-old Lamacion McElroy, turned himself over to Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators on August 18, 2020. McElroy was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and booked in on charges of Theft by Taking, Felony. McElroy was released on a bond of $4,050.00.

Asking for the Public’s Assistance Locating Theft by Taking Suspect
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a male suspect, 25 year old Lamacion McElroy, of Macon, wanted for Theft by Taking (Felony).
Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators determined that in May, 2020 McElroy transferred money from the victim’s account, to his account without permission. It is estimated that McElroy received over $3,000 from the victim’s account. A picture of McElroy is attached to this release.
