The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigative Unit along with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Gang Unit, District 4 Patrol Deputies and SWAT Team served a search warrant at 619 Poppy Avenue at around 4:00AM Sunday morning. This location has been reported in the recent past with having drug activity and illegal alcohol sales along with other possible criminal activity.
As investigators and deputies served the warrant and entered the residence, they found approximately seventy-three (73) people inside the house. Also found in the house were several bags of powder cocaine and marijuana. A total of eight (8) firearms were found discarded inside and outside the house. One (1) of the firearms was found to have been reported stolen.
There were a total of 71 citations issued for the charge of Being Present at a Dive. The occupant that lives at the address, 43 year old Angelia Nickell Mintz, was charged with Maintaining a Disorderly House and Violation of Probation/Bibb County. Eight (8) other people at the house were arrested on the following charge(s) and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center along with Mintz.
