The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in helping locate a missing person.
On February 13, 2023, it was reported that 55-year-old Richard Lindsey Rowland was last seen leaving the Extended Stay Hotel located at 3980 Riverside Drive with a black male named George Battle, on February 10, 2023. It was reported that Rowland and Battle left the property driving Rowland’s 2004 Toyota Tacoma, red in color with North Carolina tag number CKS5891.
A resident reported that Battle returned in the truck without Rowland. Battle stated that Rowland walked away from the truck and never returned. This incident was reported by residents because they were concerned as Rowland possibly suffers from mental illness or Autism.
Rowland is around five foot ten inches tall and weighs about one hundred and fifty pounds with brown hair. It is unknown what he was wearing.
