On Saturday, June 3, 2017, Vineville Avenue between Rogers Avenue and Corbin Avenue will be reduced to 2 lanes, 1 lane in each direction of travel on Vineville Avenue beginning at 4:00 p.m. until 12:00 midnight. The lane closures are in reference to the private gathering for family and friends of Gregg Allman that will be at the Big House Saturday afternoon. If it becomes necessary traffic may be blocked in this section of Vineville Avenue and detoured to Corbin Avenue and Rogers Avenue.
Motorists are urged to take alternate routes into downtown tomorrow between these times as traffic may be congested at times.
