The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of teens vandalizing several isles at the Walmart that is located on Zebulon Road at around 1:50a.m. Sunday morning. It was reported that a large crowd of male and female teenagers entered the store, ran down the main isle, and pulled merchandise off of the shelves. Once the crowd reached the back of the store, they stopped and then ran back towards the front of the store, pulling merchandise off of the shelves from the opposite isle. The teens immediately ran out of the store and fled the parking lot in several vehicles.

One of the teens returned to the scene after dropping his cellphone during the incident. The male teen was identified as one of the suspects involved in the incident and was taken into custody. Kharron Nathan Green, age 17 from Macon was arrested for the charges of Criminal Damage to Property in the 2nd Degree and Inciting a Riot. Green was released on a bond of $3700.00 at around 4:45a.m., Sunday morning.

 Investigators will be reviewing the surveillance footage from the Walmart to help identify those involved. Additional arrests are pending further investigation.

The store manager estimated that the teens caused over $2000.00., in damage.
