Suspects Arrested In Robbery By Force  Incident In South Bibb

The Bibb County  Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Robbery by Force incident that occurred at 3080 Rice Mill Road, Cobble Hill Apartments, just before 8:00p.m. Sunday night. It was reported that 34yr old Carlton Gilbert, of Perry,  went to the apartment to visit a female who was later identified as Kearia Robinson. Gilbert was met by 3 black males at the apartment. He was struck in the head with a metal pipe and robbed of his cellphone, keys and wallet. The suspects took his vehicle and fled the apartment complex. Deputies searching the area saw the car on Rice Mill Road at Pio Nono Avenue. They attempted to stop it but the vehicle sped off. After a brief vehicle pursuit, the vehicle wrecked on Broadway at Raines Avenue. The suspects, including the female that Gilbert was visiting, attempted to flee on foot but were caught and taken into custody.

The driver 21yr old Shainika Sanders and two others, 21yr old Jacorey Martavous Holloway and 21yr old Keaira Robinson all from Macon, were charged with Robbery by Force.

Carlton Gilbert was taken to the Navicent Health Hospital where he is listed in stable condition at this time.
