Bibb County Sheriff’s Office investigators, along with the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, and members of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, arrested two suspects in connection with a commercial armed robbery of the T-Mart, located at 1208 Jeffersonville Road. The original incident took place on August 23, 2022.

Investigators identified the suspects and had warrants issued for their arrests. Bibb Sheriff’s investigators, the US Marshals Southeast Fugitive Task Force and members of the F.B.I. served a search warrant at a residence that is located on Magnolia Drive. Both suspects were taken into custody, without incident.  

The first suspect , 33-year-old Antonio Demarcus Fordis currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond, for the charges of Possession of a Firearm by Convicted Felon, Aggravated Assault, and Armed Robbery.

The second suspect, 37-year-old Latosha Laquita Blash is also currently being held in the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center, without bond, for the charges of Aggravated Assault and Armed Robbery (Party to a Crime).

Commercial Armed Robbery of T Mart

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a commercial armed robbery that took place just before 7:00 a.m. at the T Mart, located at 1208 Jeffersonville Road.

It was reported that a male subject entered the store brandishing a firearm. He demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash he fled the store on foot. The clerk was checked by EMS and cleared on the scene with minor injuries.

The suspect was completely covered in dark clothes with his face hidden. A picture of the suspect is attached to this release.
