On October 22, 2019, just before 10:30 a.m., Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators along with Marshals from the Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested three suspects.

Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators were informed that 38-year-old Tyrone Jerry Briscoe, of Macon, who had warrants out of Jones County Sheriff’s Office, was riding in a Jeep on Riverside Drive near Pierce Avenue. Marshals were in the area and located Briscoe in the parking lot of Applebee’s, 2574 Riverside Drive. Briscoe was seen in the vehicle with three other subjects.

Deputies and Marshals surrounded the vehicle and began detaining the subject in the vehicle and that is when the driver attempted to pull out a pistol on the Officers. He was identified as 43-year-old Johnny Paul Grilliot, of Calhoun, Ga.

Deputies also took the two female passengers, 52-year-old Teri Leigh Williams Pierce, of Barnesville, and 29-year-old Destiny Marie Boniol, of Macon, into custody.

Deputies located an altered 22cal. rifle in the vehicle and a small amount of methamphetamine in Pierce’s purse.

Briscoe, who had warrants, was turned over to the Jones County Sheriff’s Office by the Marshals.

Grilliot was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of an Illegal Firearm (the sawed-off/altered rifle) and Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer. He is being held without bond at this time.

Pierce was taken to the Bibb County Jail and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. She is being held on an $8,450.00 bond at this time.

Boniol was taken to the Bibb County Jail on a warrant for Animal Cruelty(abandonment of dogs) in an unrelated case. She is being held on a $5,700.00 bond at this time.
