Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a person shot call on June 15, 2019. The victim had been taken to the Navicent Health Medical Center. Deputies made contact with a 29-year-old black male victim, from Macon.
It was reported that the victim and his brother had been at Club Rodeo and when a silver Dodge Charger had pulled up beside their car. An unknown suspect began to shoot at them. The 29-year-old victim was struck, but his brother was not.
The brother drove the victim to the hospital. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigators were able to determine that 20-year-old Tremontay Quintavious Height, of Macon, was in the Dodge Charger. The Sheriff’s Office is still looking for a second suspect at this time.
On July 16, 2019, Height was arrested in Wilkinson County on warrants stemming from the incident. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies picked Height up and he was transported to the Bibb County Jail on charges of two counts of Aggravated Assault. He is being held without bond at this time. Height also has a warrant from Laurens County Sheriff’s Office in an unrelated case.
