The US Marshals Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force and Investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest today in the murder of 23 year old Jovante Passard. Hymetheus Malik Johnson was located and arrested in Lithonia Georgia at around 11:45 a.m. Friday morning. Johnson was arrested on a Crimestoppers Tip and without incident.

Johnson was transported back to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center where he will be booked on the charge of murder.

Public’s Assistance Locating Suspect Wanted For Murder

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 20 year old Hymetheus Malik Johnson of Macon. A Murder Warrant has been issued for Johnson’s arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred just after 7:00 p.m. Friday night. Jovante Passard, 23 years of age, was found shot multiple times in the front lawn of 852 Trade Wind Road. Passard later died at the Navicent Health Hospital.

Hymetheus Johnson is a black male, 5 feet 10 inches in height and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Johnson was seen leaving the scene in a 1999 green Honda Accord. It is believed that Johnson has since abandoned the vehicle in an unknown location.
